This Privacy Policy explains how the PadelShooter mobile application (the “App”) handles information. The App is published by Racketclub HK (“we”, “us”, “our”) and is available on Google Play and the Apple App Store (package name com.padelshooter.padelshootergeneral).
In short: the PadelShooter app does not collect, store, or share any personal data. It works entirely on your device.
1. Information we collect
We do not collect any personal information through the App. Specifically:
- No account or registration is required to use the App.
- We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or payment details.
- The App contains no analytics, advertising, tracking, or crash-reporting tools.
- No usage data or device identifiers are transmitted to us or to any third party.
2. Information stored on your device
So the App can remember your setup between sessions, it stores the following only on your own device:
- Your preferences (language, sport mode, and machine model).
- The training programs and drill settings you create.
This information never leaves your device and is not accessible to us. Uninstalling the App removes it.
3. Network connections
The App connects to the internet only to download publicly available configuration and training-preset files (such as drill definitions and firmware information) from padelshooter.com. These are simple one-way downloads — no personal information is sent when the App retrieves them.
4. Bluetooth and your machine
The App uses Bluetooth (Bluetooth Low Energy) to connect to and control your PadelShooter ball machine. This is a direct, local connection between your phone and the machine. No data from this connection is collected or transmitted to us.
5. Permissions we request
The App requests the following device permissions solely to provide its core functionality:
- Bluetooth (scan and connect): to find and control your PadelShooter machine.
- Location: the Android operating system requires an app to hold location permission before it is allowed to scan for nearby Bluetooth devices. The App uses this permission only to enable Bluetooth scanning. It does not determine, use, collect, or share your geographic location.
- Files/Storage: to let you export and import your own training-configuration files, if you choose to. Any such files remain on your device.
6. Sharing with third parties
We do not share any information with third parties, because the App does not collect any. The App contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or social-media components.
7. Children’s privacy
The App does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. It is a tool for operating sports equipment and is suitable for a general audience.
8. Data security
Because the App does not collect or transmit personal data, there is no personal data held by us that could be lost or misused. Information stored on your device is protected by your device’s own security measures.
9. Your rights
